Picked up my Ioniq 5 1-2 weeks ago (Canada) and the dealer said it came with 2x free replacement keys. Maybe that's only for the Ultimate package but you might have the same. Download a NFC reader app and see if it can scan the nfc chip on the card. Doesn't matter what it reads, you just want to make sure there is a working nfc chip there. If there is and trying the placements all over the mat doesn't work, then I'd say take it to the dealer and ask them to do it.
