Things I have done so far: -I've purchased the Identiv SCR3500 Smartfold Smart Card Reader with many people recommending it as a . I purchased a SCM reader over a decade ago and it still works great to this day. As someone else mentioned, check out military CAC and make a purchase on whatever hardware seems to fit your OS the best. I just got the smart card reader SCR500, but I don't know if I'm doing something wrong. I try to use to accsess my AKO but Safary sends me to an error page. I will apreciate any help. I'm using PKard S/W from Thursby. I plugged in a different reader, SCR3310, and it reads my card fine. Thursby seems to be blaming Apple OS X Yosemite. Hopefully Apple fixes this soon since this small fold up reader is ideal for my MacBook. A co-worker has the SCR3500 (not A) and it seems fine.
