Posted November 25, 2010. Anyone else having problems with their smartcard on the IQ2 box..? mine is coming up with an error " F105 - There is a problem reading the smartcard. Please . #1. My trusty old VIP 622 is giving me Smart Card Not Inserted all of a sudden. It tells me to remove it and reinsert it which just makes it reboot and go back to the same thing. .
The signal input cable needs to be unscrewed and screwed in, it does not pull out. If you have more connections than these, you might like to give our friendly customer service team a call .

I reset the Foxtel box, pulled the plug out of the socket, left it for about a minute, plugged it back in again, used the Foxtel button top of remote, inserted the Smartcard, followed the instructions on the top of the card for correct insertion and it tuned in perfectly.Customer: My TV says my smart card is suddenly inserted wrong. It interrupts anything inclluding comercials to telll me many times in an hour. Can you help me?

Please first turn off the Foxtel box then pull out the smart card and wipe the contacts on the smart card with a soft cloth and reinsert it. Now turn on the Foxtel box does that fix the problem? If not then again turn off the box and unplug the power. #1. My trusty old VIP 622 is giving me Smart Card Not Inserted all of a sudden.
